Vauxhall Fashion Scout's acclaimed Merit Award for the AW 13/14 is now accepting applications. The Merit Award is an internationally recognized as the leading launch pad for the next generation of design talent. The award is worth 25,000 over three easons, including a fully sponsored catwalk show and 1,000 bursary int he first season. With leading international press, buyers and industry members in attendance, the Merit Award show has become the highlight event of London Fashion Week's Off-Schedule.
Winning designers also receive continued access to sales and marketing support and business advice in conjunction with the Vauxhall Fashion Scout year-long Mentoring Program.
The Merit Award is open to all designers who have not yet held a solo catwalk show at Vauxhall Fashion Scout or similar event. Ideally designers should have some group show or presentation experience and should have begun to establish a name for themselves with media and buyers.
